What is Technofarsh?
Technofarsh (تکنوفرش) is an online AI carpet design platform. It helps carpet designers and manufacturers design, edit and prepare Persian carpet maps for weaving, right in the browser with nothing to install.
What is AI carpet design?
AI carpet design means using artificial intelligence for the slow, repetitive parts of carpet design: resizing maps, changing palettes, outlining hand drawings, adjusting reed and density, or generating new elements. The designer still reviews and approves every result.
How does carpet design with AI work in Technofarsh?
Upload your carpet map, choose a tool such as resize, color change or outlining, and set your target. The AI processes the structure of the map and shows the result next to the original, so you can review it before downloading.
Can I resize a carpet map without losing quality?
Yes. Ordinary image resizing interpolates pixels without understanding the pattern, which breaks lines, motifs and color boundaries. Technofarsh resizes carpet maps with the structure of the pattern in mind to keep proportions and key details. The result still depends on the quality of the file you upload.
Which file formats can I upload?
Common image formats such as BMP and PNG are accepted in the supported tools. The upload form of each tool lists exactly which formats it takes.
Is Technofarsh available in English?
This page introduces Technofarsh in English. The design studio itself currently runs in Persian (Farsi), and our team answers questions in English by email and on Telegram.
